We had a wonderful weekend of Family Fun, Sun & Good Cooking..... The weather was beautiful. Even though I was fussing about the SW wind..... It probably would have been a little warm without it. Nana went with us out in the boat on Saturday. You know Nana she had to bring along the clam rakes. We actually hit a spot that allowed even I to enjoy a little clamming. We got some clams and Nana cooked a clambake Sunday for lunch. Saturday night she fried fish with all the trimmings. So, needless to say we had some good cooking this weekend. Now that I think about it, Nana always cooks good.
The only thing to make it better would have been to have a couple brothers, their wives and 6 beautiful girls on the beach with us. Also, some of Nessa's clams casino would have topped it off. We are looking forward to more weekends spent on the beach. This would have been a great week to be on vacation. But, we have to work. So, we will look forward to the weekend. Glad you all had a good weekend. Ours was so wet! We got 3 to 4 inches of rain and it is not going anywhere. It looks as if we have lake front property. YUCK! It is warm, but windy today and we are expecting more rain this afternoon, so I am not sure if both girls will have softball practice or not. Warmer, dry weather has to come sooner or later! Hope you have a good week! We love ya bunches:-)
